Now that winter has arrived it is a good time to think about what activities to do throughout the weekends. There are so many beautiful places on the sunshine coast and now is a great time to get out and explore them. With that in mind why not take your family or friends on an adventure to the great outdoors. Pack up a picnic basket and plenty of water and go for a hike. There are heaps of walking tracks all over the sunshine coast for all age groups!

E.g. Have you ever climbed Mt Coolum? Great cardio & leg workout and be rewarded with the most spectacular view when you reach the summit! If you would like something more leisurely head out to the Maroochy Botanic gardens at Tanawha, a great spot to unwind.

If you are feeling a bit lazy after your picnic lunch, have some fun with a Frisbee, cricket bat or even a bit of soccer with family or friends. Don’t forget your hat and sunscreen!
